Agreement to terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you"), and Vault Garden Oy ("Infersec", "we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of the Infersec platform and all related services.

By accessing or using the platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

Definitions

  • Platform — the Infersec service, including the Console, API, and all related infrastructure.
  • API — the public-facing Infersec API service that receives inference requests and routes them to connected inference sources.
  • Console — the web-based control panel for managing your account and resources.
  • Conduit — the self-hosted agent application that you deploy on your own hardware to connect local AI engines to the platform.
  • Inference Source — a hardware resource connected via Conduit that provides AI inferencing capacity.
  • Inference Endpoint — a configured entry point that routes inference requests to one or more inference sources.
  • Tool Service — a configurable MCP (Model Context Protocol) gateway attached to an inference endpoint that enables server-side tool interception and execution during inference requests.
  • MCP Tool — an individual tool within a tool service, connected to an external MCP server endpoint that you configure.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Account registration and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including passwords and API keys. All activity occurring under your account is your responsibility. If you become aware of any unauthorized use, you must notify us immediately at the contact address below.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Service description

Infersec is a platform that enables you to host AI inferencing endpoints using your own hardware. The platform routes inference requests from your consumers (such as AI clients, applications, or agents) through the API to inference sources running on your hardware via Conduit.

The platform also supports server-side tool interception: when a tool service is attached to an endpoint, the API can intercept model responses, execute tool calls against MCP servers you configure, and feed results back to the model within the same request.

User-hosted infrastructure

Conduit runs on hardware that you own and control. You are solely responsible for:

  • The hardware, operating system, and network on which Conduit runs.
  • The local AI engines (such as vLLM, llama.cpp, or similar) that Conduit proxies requests to.
  • The security, maintenance, and configuration of your infrastructure.
  • Ensuring your infrastructure complies with all applicable laws and regulations.

We do not have access to, control over, or responsibility for your local hardware or the AI engines running on it.

Tool services and MCP tool execution

When you configure tool services on an inference endpoint, you direct the platform to relay tool calls to MCP server endpoints that you specify. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for the MCP server endpoints you configure, including their availability, security, and behaviour.
  • We do not operate, control, or endorse any MCP server endpoints you connect.
  • Tool calls are relayed on your behalf to endpoints you have chosen. We are not a party to the interaction between the model and your tool endpoints.
  • You must ensure that any MCP server endpoints you configure comply with all applicable laws, including data protection regulations.
  • We are not liable for any outcomes, errors, data loss, or damages resulting from tool execution, including but not limited to: incorrect tool responses, tool endpoint downtime, data transmitted to or from tool endpoints, or any actions taken by tool endpoints.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that any data transmitted to MCP tool endpoints is handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR.

Data processing

Our data processing practices are described in our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms by reference. Key points:

  • We do not store prompt data. Prompt content, completions, and tool-call payloads are never written to disk, logged, or persisted in any database.
  • Prompt data is processed in memory only, for the duration of the active request, and is discarded immediately after.
  • You are responsible for the data you send through the platform. While we do not store your prompts, the AI models running on your hardware and any MCP tools invoked during a request may process that data under their own terms and conditions.
  • We are not liable for how external services, models, or tools handle your data.

Service availability

The platform is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee any specific level of uptime, availability, or uninterrupted service.

We may perform maintenance, experience outages, or modify the service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience resulting from service interruptions, downtime, or unavailability.

Payment and billing

The platform operates on a pay-as-you-go, credit-based model. Key terms:

  • You purchase credits in advance via Stripe. Credits are deducted in real time as you use the platform.
  • Current rates are published on our pricing page and may be updated with notice.
  • All payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.
  • Credits are non-refundable once purchased, including in the event of account termination.
  • Auto top-up is available as an opt-in feature. When enabled, credits are purchased automatically when your balance falls below a threshold you configure.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform, its infrastructure, or other users' access.
  • Use the platform to transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the platform.
  • Use the platform in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations, including data protection laws.

Intellectual property

The platform, its source code, design, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Vault Garden Oy. You retain full ownership of all content you process through the platform, including prompts, completions, and tool configurations.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the platform in accordance with these terms.

Disclaimer of warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
  • Warranties of non-infringement.
  • Warranties that the platform will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

We do not warrant that the results obtained from using the platform will be accurate, reliable, or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law (in particular, the laws of Finland and the European Union):

  • We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
  • We shall not be liable for any damages arising from: service interruptions or downtime, the actions or omissions of third-party services (including MCP tool endpoints), content generated by AI models running on your hardware, or data loss of any kind.
  • Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vault Garden Oy and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the platform.
  • Your configuration of tool services and MCP tool endpoints.
  • Content or data you process through the platform.
  • Your violation of these terms or any applicable law or regulation.
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property and data protection rights.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. You may terminate by deleting your account through the Console. We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these terms.

Upon termination:

  • Any remaining credits in your account are forfeited and non-refundable.
  • Your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Sections relating to disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and intellectual property shall survive termination.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Finland, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Finland, except where EU consumer protection regulations require otherwise.
